Auburn, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on I-80 W/Rocklin

Auburn, CA (October 6, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 West near the junction with Highway 65 resulted in injuries on Monday afternoon, October 6. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred when two vehicles collided in the center divider while one was attempting a turn near the Rocklin area.

Emergency crews and CHP officers responded quickly, providing aid to the injured and assessing damage. At least one individual sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and required towing from the scene. The incident caused temporary traffic disruptions, but all lanes reopened shortly thereafter. Investigators are working to determine what led to the crash.
