Solano, CA – Hit-and-Run Crash on I-80 W/Monte Vista Ave. Leaves Injuries

Solano, CA (October 6, 2025) – A hit-and-run crash on Interstate 80 West at the East Monte Vista Avenue off-ramp left at least one person injured on Monday morning, October 6. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), officers arrived shortly after receiving reports of a collision involving multiple vehicles, one of which fled the scene before law enforcement could arrive.

Paramedics assessed the injured victim on-site and later transported them to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been publicly disclosed. Crews temporarily shut down the off-ramp to clear debris and gather evidence. CHP investigators are now reviewing surveillance footage and witness statements to locate the driver responsible for leaving the scene.
