Omaha, NE – Multi-Car Crash on I-80 at 96th St Causes Injuries

Omaha, NE (September 14, 2025) – A multi-car accident on Interstate 80 westbound near 96th Street left several people injured on Saturday evening, September 13. The Omaha Police Department confirmed that the collision happened around 10:13 p.m. and involved multiple vehicles blocking the roadway.

Emergency crews, including Engine 61 and Medic 61 from the Omaha Fire Department, responded to the scene to provide aid to those hurt in the crash. At least one person sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for additional medical care. The responding crews worked to assist victims and clear the scene.

Tow trucks later removed the wrecked vehicles, allowing traffic to resume. Investigators with the Omaha Police Department are still working to determine what led to the collision. No names or further details about the injured parties have been released.
