Omaha, NE – Crash on I-80 Near 234th St Leaves One Seriously Injured

Omaha, NE (September 14, 2025) – One person sustained serious injuries following a crash involving a semi-truck and a passenger car early Monday morning, September 14, on westbound Interstate 80 near 234th Street. The Nebraska State Patrol reported that the collision occurred around 5:00 a.m., blocking traffic in the westbound lanes.

First responders arrived within minutes and confirmed that one individual from the passenger car suffered serious injuries. The victim was stabilized at the scene before being transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The semi-truck and the car both sustained heavy damage, and debris was scattered across multiple lanes, forcing crews to temporarily close the roadway.
