Laramie, WY – Fatal Semi-Truck Crash on EB I-80 Near Arlington

Laramie, WY (September 18, 2025) – A serious crash involving at least two semi-trailers on eastbound I-80 near Arlington on Thursday, September 18, left one person dead and another critically injured. The Wyoming Highway Patrol reported the incident shortly before noon, prompting closure of the eastbound lanes between Laramie and Rawlins for several hours.

The injured individual was transported by air ambulance for treatment, while debris from the crash stretched across both lanes for over 100 feet. The front ends of both semi-trailers were heavily damaged. Eastbound traffic reopened around 4:15 p.m. once the scene was cleared.
