Fairfield, CA – Fatal Crash on I-80 EB Near Manuel Campos Pkwy

Fairfield, CA (October 15, 2025) – A deadly crash early Monday morning, October 13, shut down multiple lanes of eastbound I-80 near Manuel Campos Parkway in Fairfield. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene around 2:20 a.m. after reports of a vehicle rollover.

According to CHP dispatch logs, the vehicle overturned just west of Manuel Campos Parkway, leaving at least one person trapped inside. Emergency crews and firefighters worked to extricate the victim. Tragically, officials later confirmed at least one fatality, and the Solano County Coroner was called to the scene.

Several lanes were closed for hours while authorities investigated and cleared debris.
