Oakland, CA – Crash with Injuries Reported on I-80 W/Ashby Ave.

Oakland, CA (October 12, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a traffic collision with reported injuries on Interstate 80 West at the Ashby Avenue off-ramp on Sunday, October 12. According to CHP, at least two vehicles were involved, and one male victim was found lying on the right-hand shoulder of the road.

Ambulance services were dispatched to the scene, and the man was transported to a local hospital for further care. The extent of his injuries has not yet been disclosed. Other occupants were evaluated by paramedics at the scene. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the crash stemmed from a medical emergency or a collision between the vehicles. The roadway remained partially blocked as crews worked to investigate the scene and assist those hurt.
