Gretna, NE – Injury Accident on I-80 near MM 43460

Gretna, NE (August 2, 2025) — Early Thursday morning, July 31, emergency crews responded to a crash on eastbound Interstate 80 near mile marker 43460, just outside the city of Gretna. The incident occurred around 6:12 a.m. and involved multiple vehicles, according to local authorities.

Firefighters from the Gretna Fire Department and deputies from Sarpy County arrived promptly to assist those involved. At least one person sustained injuries and was transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital. Details regarding the severity of the injuries have not yet been disclosed.
