
Dexter, IA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-80 EB/Exit 100


Dexter, IA (September 7, 2025) – A crash on I-80 eastbound left several people injured on September 7, near Exit 100 between County Roads P53 and F60 and Exit 104 at County Road P57, about three miles east of Dexter. According to the Iowa State Patrol, multiple vehicles were involved in the collision. Emergency medical teams responded quickly, treating injured victims at the scene before transporting at least one person to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The exact number of injuries and the condition of those involved have not yet been confirmed. Responding crews worked to clear damaged vehicles and debris from the roadway. The lanes were later reopened once the area was deemed safe for travel. Iowa State Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
